Pamela R. Mullis

Pamela R. Mullis works with serious personal injury cases. She is a 1991 graduate of the College of Charleston and earned her law degree from Whittier Law School of Los Angeles, California in 1997. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar, American Bar Association, Richland County Bar Association and the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association. Pamela is also a member of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association where she has served on the Board of Governors since 2005 and currently serves on the Executive Committee as the association secretary. The South Carolina Association for Justice recognized her with its Public Citizen Award in 2006. In addition, she is a member of the American Association for Justice and served on the Board of Governors from 2006-2008; and 2012 to present, the convention planning committee from 2006 to present and the New Lawyers Division Board of Governors from 1998- 2007. Pamela has an active trial practice and speaks on issues related to the practice of law at both the local and national level. She is a nationally published author in the area of Dram Shop Litigation in the award winning Trial Magazine produced by the American Association of Justice. Pamela was recently certified as a life member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an organization whose membership is limited to attorneys acting as principle counsel with million and multi million dollar verdicts, awards and settlements and includes fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers. Pamela is the first of two women in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum from the state of South Carolina.

Dram Shop - $5,000,000 Settlement

The Mullis Law Firm P.A. brought a dram shop/liquor liability lawsuit against two bars on behalf of a client who was severely injured in a collision with a drunk driver who was served alcohol when it was clear that she was already intoxicated. Pamela secured a $5,000,000 settlement for the client. James Kranak and Carol Kranak v. Apple J, L.P. d/b/a Applebee's and Nikki D's, Inc. d/b/a Showgirlz Case No.: 2010-CP-38-1591   Dram Shop   Settled in September 2011 with Applebee's for $5,000,000.00 and Nikki D's, Inc. for $1,000,000.00

Auto Accident - $437,000 Settlement

The Mullis Law firm P.A. brought suit on behalf of a client who was severely injured in an automobile crash involving multiple vehicles. The client was on the job and riding as a passenger in a work truck when an approaching vehicle lost a tire. The work truck driver swerved to miss the tire and hit a church van head on doing more than 60 miles per hour. Pamela secured a $437,000 settlement for the client. Charlie Taylor v. Prison Inmate Neglect - $60,000 Settlement

The Mullis Law Firm P.A. brought suit on behalf of a prison inmate who fell in the shower, sustaining neck and back injuries. He was denied treatment despite the recommendations of medical staff and doctors. He claimed that, due to the delay in treatment, he suffered permanent impairment. Pamela secured a $60,000 settlement for the client. Adrian S. Keller v. Valle                    Case No.: 2010-CP-08-1801     The McCray Case - Accident involving DUI defendant who failed to appear for trial after hitting the Plaintiff in a head on in a collision.   Verdict at trial in August 2012 for $647,000.00 ($500,000 actuals/$147,000 punitive)

Auto Accident Involving Intoxicated Defendant  - $854,075 Verdict

Antoinette Cooper v. Benjamin Spears Case No.: 2011- CP-21- 695 Car wreck case involving intoxicated defendant driver, Plaintiff awarded $4,075 property damages; $800,000 Actual damages and $50,000 Punitive Damages in January 2013.
